Editor's Note
It lies within the village of Karabiga in the Biga district of Çanakkale province. Wall remains built of rough-hewn and finely cut stone on a square plan were uncovered during trial excavations carried out by the Museum Directorate. A tile-covered grave was found among the foundation remains of the building's western wall. Based on this grave, it is thought that the site was briefly settled in the 1st century AD and, given its location, served as a watchtower.
