It lies within the boundaries of Örtülüce village, in the Biga district of Çanakkale province. In this wooded area there are illegal excavation pits, and in their sections wall remains built of irregular stones, a large quantity of roof tiles, and pithos fragments. A small number of amorphous pottery sherds thought to date to the Roman period have also been found. Apart from flat-cut stone blocks, decorated architectural pieces, probably brought to light by illegal excavations, have also been encountered.
