Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of Değirmencik village, in the Biga district of Çanakkale province, on a headland-shaped area known as Küçük Ada. A large quantity of roof-tile fragments, amphora and pithos fragments, and vessel sherds, some of them glazed, have been found at the site. Remains of the foundation of a house seen in a section, mentioned in earlier reports but no longer present today, could not be located. On the west side there is a damaged Byzantine simple-burial grave. Pottery sherds scattered around it, along with finger bones and a skull, can be seen.
