On the base of the minaret of this structure, which has no foundation inscription, there is a plaque in Turkish reading "Üzümlü Abdülbaki Mosque 1884." From the inscription, plan, and architectural features, the building appears to have been built in the 19th century. The earliest record for the mosque mentioned in the hurufat registers is 1715, so a structure was built before this date. However, it is unlikely that the mosque mentioned is the present one. By its architectural features, the mosque is a late-period work. It may have been built in 1884, the year given on the minaret base.
