Yaylabaşı Kilisesi

Editor's Note

The structure is located in the town of Yaylabaşı, formerly called Kiğ/Kiy, in the central district of Erzincan Province, 12 km from the centre, on ground commanding the surrounding land. With no construction date, the building can be dated to the 19th century on the basis of its plan and architecture. The church was built over a rectangular area of about 9.63 x 4.50 m, single-naved, with a single semicircular apse.
