It lies on the southern foothills of Mount Kurtlutepe, 3 km north of the village of Çengerli. The remains of a defensive wall surround the settlement. Stone walls existed at the site until recently, but today they have been completely destroyed. On the upper part of the settlement we find a small, though not large, number of pottery fragments. The Baliyi Stream passes to the east of the settlement and the Çamlıca Stream to the west, with the settlement lying exactly between the two. The level ground of the present four terraces shows that this site had been settled even earlier.
