Editor's Note
The church in the village of Kadıköy in the Refahiye district has survived intact to the present day. Built of cut stone, it stands out for the decoration around its entrance doorway. A cross motif is carved in relief on the lintel above the door. Traces of wall paintings remain inside the church. In front of the apse there is a finely worked, decorated wooden panel. [1] Although it is not known when or by whom the church was built, it is believed to date from the 19th century.
