Editor's Note
The castle lies within the bounds of the village of İğdir in the Artova district of Tokat province. The castle was declared a First-Degree Archaeological Site by decision number 10450 of the Sivas Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Property, dated 25 September 2025.
