Editor's Note
In a Hittite-language cult ritual text uncovered during excavations at Ambarlıkaya, a hitherto unknown language was discovered. The excavation epigraphist Prof. Dr. Daniel Schwemer states that he has identified this language as the language of the land of Kalašma, located to the northwest of the Hittite heartland, probably in the region of present-day Bolu or Gerede.
