As it was determined that the Old Mosque located on parcel 2 of block 164 in the Basayas district (village) of the Ayas sub-province of Ankara possesses the qualities of a cultural asset under Law no. 2863, it was decided to register it, to designate it conservation group (1), and to define its parcel as a conservation area; it was further resolved that the survey and restoration projects to be prepared for the mosque's repair be submitted to our Council for assessment. Source: It is derelict today. With the new village built beside it in the nineties, the mosque and the structures around it lost their function.
