Located in the Hacituğrul district of the Polatli sub-province of Ankara, the Yukaripinar Village Fountain is one of the characteristic examples of the region's traditional rural water architecture. Positioned as a functional element within the village's settlement fabric, the structure reflects a typical post-Ottoman rural fountain form, with a spout system set into a pointed-arch niche and a wide stone trough before it. Built of local stone, its design makes visible both the practical needs of water supply and the village's historic water culture.
