It lies within the Hacıilbey neighbourhood of Altıeylül district, Balıkesir province. The fountain, rectangular in plan with a water cistern and built of brick, cut stone and rubble stone, is topped by a reinforced-concrete roof. On its south façade there is a niche flanked by two small columns under a round arch, a basin, and seating benches on either side of the basin. It is thought to date from the late Ottoman period. It was registered as an Immovable Cultural Asset Requiring Protection (group 1) by decision no. 2907 of the Balıkesir Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 25 June 2021.
