Editor's Note
It lies within the Karaoğlan neighbourhood of Karesi district, Balıkesir province. It stands at the northwest corner of the garden wall of a registered building now used by the Directorate of National Education. Built of cut stone with a single façade and a pointed arch, the fountain has a rectangular plan. Its basin has fallen below ground level because the road surface has risen. It bears no inscription. It was registered as a Cultural Asset Requiring Protection (group 1) by decision no. 2712 of the Balıkesir Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 25 March 2021.
