Editor's Note
This is the house of Sabri Sözen, who served as director of education for Balıkesir and was among the cadre that launched the Kuva-yi Milliye (National Forces) movement in Balıkesir following the occupation of İzmir in 1919. It is still used today by Sabri Bey's descendants.
