Located within the boundaries of Çanşa Kale neighbourhood in our district, the Alişoğlu (Aliş Baba) Tomb holds an important place in Kalecik's deep-rooted spiritual heritage. Belonging to Alişoğlu Ali Efendi, a member of the Naqshbandi order who is said to have come from Khorasan and settled in our district, this tomb is one of our notable visiting sites for faith tourism. Buried in the tomb alongside Alişoğlu Ali Efendi are his mother and his daughter. Built by Alişoğlu Ali Efendi in 1231, the tomb became, by his own will, the place where he too was buried after his death.
