Editor's Note
Built in 1895 by Emine Hanım, the wife of the retired captain Hacı Hasan Ağa. Its basin is shaped like a wide trough for animals. The fountain has two continuously flowing spouts. The inscription, located roughly above the right spout, reads: In the year 1312, Emine Hanım, the charitable benefactress, daughter of Mustafa Ağa son of Pir Gaib from the village of Hasanoğlan in the district of Bâla, and wife of the late retired captain El-Hac Hasan Ağa, had this fine fountain built.
