Located within the bounds of the Güzelhisar neighbourhood of the Akyurt district of Ankara province, this Ottoman-period fountain is a rural water structure notable for its use of spolia. Roman-period architectural elements (especially stone blocks and decorated architectural pieces) can be seen reused in the fountain's construction. This points to the presence of Roman-period building in the region and also reveals the practice of reusing ancient building materials in the Ottoman period. Architecturally simple in its façade arrangement, the fountain was built with a mix of ashlar and rubble-stone masonry techniques.
