Editor's Note
It is located within the bounds of Çınarlı village in the central district of Çanakkale province. During the Çanakkale (Gallipoli) battles it was used as the Cevat Pasha Battery. It was a battery attached to the 1st Heavy Artillery Battalion of the 2nd Heavy Artillery Brigade. The battery used eight 150/26 guns and was reinforced on 3 March 1915 with guns brought from Ulupınar. Today no guns remain at the battery, but the gun emplacements, connecting paths, and concrete remains of the gun positions can still be seen. It was registered by the Çanakkale Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Property by decision no. 8123 dated 31.07.2022.
