Editor's Note
It stands on Yeni Kale (Degirmen) Hill in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the Bozcaada district of Canakkale province. Built of masonry using rubble stone, the structure is oriented on an east-west axis. In a photograph dated 1931, it can be seen still standing together with the other mills on the hill. It is thought to have been built in the second half of the 19th century or the first half of the 20th. It was registered by decision no. 4561 of the Canakkale Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Property, dated April 25, 2018.
