Şarhöyük, known in antiquity as Dorylaion (Dorylaeum), is an ancient settlement located on a mound in the Şarhöyük village of the Tepebaşı district, northeast of Eskişehir. The ancient city in Anatolia originally stood about 10 km southwest of Eskişehir, at a place now called Karacahisar; around the end of the 4th century BC it was moved to this site north of modern Eskişehir.
