Construction of the hotel began on the banks of the Porsuk River in 1927, and it opened in 1930 under the name "Grand Porsuk Hotel." The Porsuk Boutique Hotel is one of the foremost buildings erected during the Republican period. Completed in 1927, it was registered as a "Monumental Structure" in 1988. In its early years it served as a hotel, and in later years it served for many years as the Municipal Building.
