Editor's Note
Demircihöyük is an ancient settlement mound about 25 km west of Bilecik city center, northwest of Çukurhisar. Standing on the western edge of the Eskişehir Plain, it is roughly 80 metres across and 5 metres high, though soundings show it was much wider and taller when inhabited. Finds from the excavations are displayed at the Eskişehir Archaeology Museum.
