Editor's Note
The masjid beside the Sogut Stream is said to be where Ertugrul Gazi pitched his first tent when he arrived with his tribe. The structure, which contains a well and is also called the "Kuyulu Mescit" (Masjid with a Well), was built by Ertugrul Gazi before 1276, rebuilt on the same foundations by Abdulhamid II in 1902, and later repaired.
