Editor's Note
The mosque in Kovalica (Kumral Baba) village in the Bozuyuk district was built in 1898 by Sultan Abdulhamid II. Haci Bekir Pasha, a member of the army, had a sacred relic of the Prophet's beard brought to the mosque. The Sacred Beard, kept in a special casing, is still preserved in the mosque today.
