The mosque in the Tekke neighborhood was built in 1902 by Muhyiddin Bey, the accountant of forests and mines. Its inscription reads: "Ayse Hanim, may you at once be drowned in forgiveness, O my Lord; he built it full of the radiant grace of the pyramids. Muhyiddin Bey built this lofty mosque; may God lengthen the life of that most noble person. Rebiulahir, year 1320." In the mosque courtyard stood a primary school whose original has not survived to the present. It was restored in 2016-2017.
