This is a cistern and resting pool located in Bilecik province, central district, Kuplu Village, at the Kisik Kaya locality, where the Bilecik-Eskisehir road meets the Istanbul motorway, on the side face of a rock mass fronting the road. The cistern, set against the bedrock, was damaged when one side was shaved off to a certain depth during stabilized-road and channel works passing nearby. It measures roughly 2 by 3 meters, with a measurable height of 17 meters. Just above the cistern is a neatly carved resting pool, partly buried under earth.
