Editor's Note
Located within the Gökçeören neighbourhood of the Altıeylül district of Balıkesir province. The remains of a wall course traceable on a hilltop are thought to belong to a fortress wall. Nearby there are the remains of a vaulted structure and piles of stone. Diagnostic and amorphous pottery and brick fragments have also been found at the site. It was registered by decision no. 1335 of the Balıkesir Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, dated 30 May 2019.
