Editor's Note
Located within the village of Hacıbekirler in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale province. The site shows foundation traces along with a dense scatter of roof tiles and bricks. Illegal excavation pits and the tile fragments thrown up from them are also visible. Based on the finds, it is thought that the site was used as a farm settlement in the Byzantine period and continued to be inhabited in later periods. It was registered by decision no. 6630 of the Çanakkale Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, dated 25 January 2021.
