Editor's Note
Located at the Kayalı Tepe site within the village of Bezirganlar in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale province. It is thought there may have been an ancient mine on the hill. Fortification walls can be clearly traced across the hilltop, measuring between 2 and 2.5 metres thick. Pottery fragments datable to the Late Roman–Early Byzantine periods have been found on the walls. The site is believed to have been a fortress-village settlement. It was registered by decision no. 5332 of the Çanakkale Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, dated 27 March 2019.
