Editor's Note
It is located at the Kusaklidag Hill locality within the boundaries of Catalcam village in the Bayramic district of Canakkale province. The walls of the castle, thought to have been built on a round plan some 250 m in diameter using the dry-stone technique, are spread over a wide area because the upper stones have collapsed. In some places traces of wall can be seen inside the perimeter, and a small amount of ceramic fragments has also been found at the site. A fire watchtower has been built right in the middle of the castle, which is thought to date to the Archaic period (640-480 BC).
