It is located at the Fugla locality between the boundaries of Akpinar and Caldag villages in the Bayramic district of Canakkale province. Thought to be associated with the ancient city of Kebren, the structure is round in plan and built using the dry-stone technique, but it has collapsed due to wind and rainfall. It is too small to have been a fortress compared with its Archaic-period counterparts. Situated in a spot well suited to surveying its surroundings, the structure is thought to have been built by the inhabitants of the ancient city of Kebren, which saw dense settlement in the Hellenistic period.
