Editor's Note
It is located within the boundaries of Sacakli village in the Bayramic district of Canakkale province. In places the site contains headstones made from reused spolia column fragments along with early-period amorphous Turkish gravestones. Among the Ottoman-era graves are the headstones of Kerime Kadin, wife of Colonel Sadik Bey, dated AH 1244 (AD 1828); Serife Hadice Kadin, daughter of the same Molla Sadik Bey, dated AH 1233 (AD 1817); and Safiye Hatun, wife of El-Hacc Muhammed Aga, dated 1225 (AD 1809-1810).
