Editor's Note
Inkaya Cave lies to the north of the Dursunbey district of Balikesir, about 5-6 km north of Delice neighborhood, at the Kiziltepe locality. The motifs found in these caves appear to reflect a deliberate effort to plan them as cult centers for hunting and religious rituals. These paintings, which reflect the beliefs and rituals of the Neolithic Age, encompass themes such as life, death and the hunt. To the south of the cave entrance there is a group of four stylized human figures arranged side by side.
