Editor's Note
It is located at the Dogancilar locality within the boundaries of Armutcuk village in the Yenice district of Canakkale province. In this area surrounded by abundant water sources, there are Late Ottoman to Early Republican water pipes. The site also contains graves typologically of the Turkish kurgan type; because these do not form very large piled-stone mounds, they resemble late-period Turkmen-Yoruk graves. Remains of a wall that may have been a sheepfold enclosure are also present at the site.
