Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of Hamdibey and Kurtlar villages in the Yenice district of Canakkale province. At the Dedeonu locality, between the Koca Stream and the Burmalicinar gullies, the site holds ceramic and tile remains dated to between the 2nd and 8th centuries AD. A single flat marble column has also been recorded. Remains of ancient iron and ceramic slag are found across almost the entire site. Three Middle Paleolithic stone tools are among the notable finds here as well.
