Editor's Note
It is located at the Karakaya Tepe site within the boundaries of Cal village, Yenice district, Canakkale province. A partly ruined defensive wall built in the dry-stone technique surrounds the dominant point of Karakaya Hill. Given that the area lies near ancient transit routes, it is thought to have possibly been a guard post, a watchtower, or a small-scale fortified settlement. However, since no architectural element has been found in the area, the non-settlement possibilities are strengthened.
