Editor's Note
İshak Pasha Palace is a palace in the Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı. Begun in 1685 and completed in 1784, it is a large complex comprising a mosque, tomb, library, cellars, dormitories, and harem and selamlık quarters. Although built in the Ottoman period, it largely reflects Seljuk architecture, while also showing the influence of Western styles such as Baroque, Gothic, Rococo and Empire.
