The Hinis Canyon lies between the Bahce and Kayabasi neighborhoods of Hinis district, which was founded on a plain at an elevation of 1,720 meters, rugged and surrounded by mountains, in the south of Erzurum province. Separating the Bahce and Sarili neighborhoods from the district center, the canyon has the characteristics of a Riviera- and boat-type canyon.
