Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of the Kocacami neighbourhood of the Burhaniye district of Balıkesir province. On either side of the fountain, which is rectangular in plan and built of local dressed stone, reused spolia thought to be from earlier periods were employed. It was registered by the Balıkesir Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage by decision no. 181, dated 24.01.2018. Since the area where the fountain stood is today occupied by apartment buildings, it is assumed not to have survived to the present.
