Editor's Note

In its current state, the bridge, which presents two visible arches, one wider and with a higher vault than the other, has been preserved at a length of roughly 5.80 m and a width of 4 m. An examination of the bridge's southwest façade revealed that a modern addition of concrete and iron had been made along this face throughout the bridge, thereby widening it. The structure was built partly with the mortared use of rectangular blocks of a certain standard, and no use of brick is seen in its vaults or voussoirs. With its semicircular arch openings, its overall scheme matches that of Roman-period bridges.
