Editor's Note
Greek masters and journeymen worked on the building, which was constructed as a primary school in 1908. In this building of dressed-stone workmanship, sulphur and gunpowder were used alongside iron rods and plates. The roof tiles were brought from Marseille; the door, window and floor joinery from Lesbos.
