The Hamidiye Mosque is a mosque located on Cunda, part of Ayvalik in Balikesir province, Turkey. Commissioned by the Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid II, the mosque's construction was completed, according to its inscription, in 1897 or 1898. A stone masonry structure, the mosque has a single minaret. Commissioned by Sultan Abdulhamid II, its construction was completed, according to the inscription, in 1897 or 1898. In Ahmet Yorulmaz's 2005 work, the construction date is given as 1905. At the time it was built, it was the only mosque on the island.
