Lying to the west of Cennet Cove inside the harbour of Ayvalik, it is a small islet resembling a flat rocky outcrop, formerly known as Nisopoulas. During surface surveys, the foundation remains of a chapel dedicated to Georgios of Chios, who died in the early 19th century and was later canonised, along with a vaulted cistern, were identified at the centre of the islet.
