Editor's Note
This two-storey mansion stands on Dumlupinar Street, opposite the Havran City Museum. Its ground floor is brick masonry and its upper floor is timber-framed. The most striking feature of the building is its woodwork detailing. The ground-floor walls are plastered with fibre-reinforced mortar and lime render, while the first floor uses lath-and-plaster (bagdadi) framing. The entrance door has a flat lintel with a fanlight window above it.
