Editor's Note
According to its inscription, it was built in 1543 by Hacı Ahmet, son of Ali. Its prayer hall is square in plan and covered by a single dome resting on an octagonal drum. The basin of the fountain in its courtyard is a repurposed sarcophagus. The portico (son cemaat) has three domes; according to Osman Bayatlı, the westernmost of these collapsed in the 1895 earthquake along with the minaret that fell onto it, and was replaced with a wooden roof. Today the wooden covering is gone and it has been restored to reflect its original form.
