Editor's Note
It was built in 1246 AH (1831 CE) by Mustafa Ağa, the Bergama Voyvoda of the time, in order to gain the intercession of Emir Sultan. The mosque, which had fallen into ruin and was demolished by the Directorate of Foundations in 1943, was later rebuilt. It was restored in 2012.
