Editor's Note
Karesi/Mysia bridges-12: In Bergama, which has more than ten stone bridges going back 2,000 years both around it and within the town, the first Bakırçay bridge of the Ottoman period, dated by inscription to 1384 and known as the "Sheep Bridge," was built by H. Eyne Bey, son of F. Hatip Mahmut, to whom Murad I had granted a fief and the title of pasha. pic.twitter.com/jZF3CSucyN — Olcay Girgiç (@OlcayGirgic) December 16, 2019
