Editor's Note
The mosque has no foundation inscription. Above the prayer hall entrance there is a Turkish marble inscription reading "Beklimçay Quarter Mosque 1221," corresponding to 1806-07 in the Gregorian calendar. Inside the prayer hall, the date H.1240 / 1825 appears on a wooden post on the southeast side. Based on these details and its plan and architectural features, the building has been dated to the 18th century. Square in plan, it has a flat wooden ceiling inside and a hipped roof outside.
