According to the foundation inscription above the door leading into the prayer hall, the mosque was built in 1787-88 by Hacı Osman. Rectangular in plan, it has a flat wooden ceiling inside and a hipped roof outside, with a layout of three aisles set perpendicular to the mihrab.
