According to the foundation inscription above the door leading into the prayer hall, the building was erected in 1805-06 by Hacı Timur Abdullah. Rectangular in plan, the mosque has a flat wooden ceiling inside and a hipped roof outside, with a layout of three aisles set perpendicular to the mihrab.
